Terms of Use, Safety Disclaimer and Community Rules

Please read these terms carefully. They are a legal agreement between you and We2Date, the operator of We2Date. You must accept them before you can create an account.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using We2Date you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement, must not have been convicted of a sexual or violent offence, and must not be prohibited from using the service under the laws of your country. You may have only one account.
3. Your account
Information you provide must be true and current, including your age and photos of yourself. Keep your password secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account. We may ask you to verify your identity and may suspend accounts that look false or unsafe. Your main profile photo must be taken live with your phone or computer camera on We2Date and must clearly show you; photos you upload can appear only in your gallery.
4. Safety disclaimer
We do not run criminal background checks and do not verify the identity, statements or intentions of members. You alone are responsible for your interactions with other members, online and offline. Never send money or financial details to anyone you meet here. Meet for the first time in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, and report anyone who behaves suspiciously.
5. Demonstration profiles
The service includes computer-generated demonstration profiles. They are not real people, do not reply, and cannot be met. Messages to demonstration profiles are free and gifts to them are not possible.
6. Community rules
You must not: harass, threaten, stalk or abuse anyone; post hate speech; share any sexual content involving minors (we report this to the authorities); share intimate images of anyone without their consent; offer or request paid sexual services; ask members for money or run scams; impersonate others; send spam or advertising; try to move members off the platform by sharing contact details; record video calls or save private media without consent; or break any law. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund.
7. Your content and private media
You keep ownership of the photos, videos and text you upload. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and process that content only to run the service. You confirm you have the rights to it and the consent of anyone shown. Private albums and private items sent in chat are shown only to the people you choose, but we cannot stop a recipient from taking screenshots or recording their screen. Share private content at your own risk. Photos and videos can be viewed only on We2Date: we do not offer a download option and we take technical steps to stop them being saved or opened outside the site. No technical measure is complete, however. Other users may still find ways to download, screenshot or record what you share, so be mindful of what you share and with whom. Videos are always private. You decide who may see each private photo or video: another member must ask first, and then sees only the items you pick for them, until you change or remove your choice.
8. Messages, video calls and automated checks
To protect members, messages and profiles are checked automatically and blocked if they contain phone numbers, email addresses, links or social media handles. Blocked attempts may be reviewed by our safety team. Video calls connect directly between members' devices and are not recorded by us.
9. Tokens and payments
Tokens are a limited licence to use paid features. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or resold, and can only be transferred using the gift feature. New members receive free tokens that can be used for text messages only. Sharing photos and videos and video calls require purchased tokens. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases. Because tokens are delivered immediately, purchases are final except where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund. Refunded or charged-back purchases remove the related tokens. Tokens are lost if your account is closed for breaking these Terms. Seeing the private photos and videos that members share with you requires a paid monthly membership. It renews automatically each month at the price shown until you cancel. If you cancel, it stays active until the end of the month you paid for, and paid months are not refunded except where the law requires.
10. Privacy
We process your personal data to provide the service, keep members safe, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Some information you choose to share, such as religion or who you are looking for, may be sensitive; you share it by your own choice and can remove it at any time. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own with appropriate safeguards. You can access, correct, export or delete your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your account if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect members.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that you will find a match, that members are who they say they are, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, We2Date is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any member on or off the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.
14. Indemnity
You agree to compensate We2Date for claims, losses and costs arising from your content, your conduct or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant we will tell you, and you will need to accept the new version to keep using the service.
17. Translations
Translations are provided for your convenience. Where the law allows, the English version prevails if versions differ.
